Geoffrey Roth provides consultative services in management, health policy, equity, and change, using over 20 years of experience working with non-profits, States, federal governments, tribal governments and urban Indian organizations. He has served most recently as the Interim Executive Director of Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP), a grass roots organization devoted to supporting increased investments in Indian country, successfully rebuilding a management and financial framework for the new Executive.

Previously, he has served as the Executive Director of the Native American Youth Association, a local ethnically specific grass roots family and youth organization in Portland, Oregon that provides community-based services including: tutoring, domestic violence prevention/counseling, violence prevention, after school care, nutrition education, counseling, foster care support, etc.

He also served at the National level in a membership-based organization, the National Council of Urban Indian Health. Advocating on behalf of a network of urban Indian health providers to increase levels of funding and create policy improvements. He also led the organization through a complete administrative overhaul including all policies, procedures, budgets, and programmatic tracking. Improving outcomes and satisfaction by funding agencies. Ultimately increasing funding to the organization.

Mr. Roth served as an appointee of the Obama administration in the US Department of Health and Human Services and the Indian Health Service (IHS a 6-billion-dollar federal health system for American Indians and Alaska Natives). During his appointment, Mr. Roth led the implementation of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act and collaborated on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) along with advisement on executive management for IHS.

Mr. Roth has served as the President of the Board of Directors of National Native American Aids Prevention Center for 5 years taking the organization through a significant reorganization, move, and executive hiring process. He also represented the US in the International Indigenous Working Group on HIV and AIDS. Mr. Roth remains a fierce advocate for his Indian people as an appointed member of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues 2020-2022.

He holds a BS in Educational Studies from the College of Education, University of Oregon and in 2015 was named the National Public Service Award winner by the College. Mr. Roth is a descendent of the Standing Rock Sioux Nation.
