Wanda Pierce is an accomplished mission-driven leader with a record of success managing organizations and business units. She leads a consulting practice that capitalizes on more than 25 years of management experience in the nonprofit sector.

Wanda provides a range of services to nonprofits including interim executive services for organizations in transition, organization assessments, strategic planning, and board development. She is highly experienced in fiscal and budget management, operations, staff management, program management, fundraising and development and marketing.

In recent years Wanda has focused on providing interim leadership services. She has served as interim CEO for three DC-based nonprofits and two Northern Virginia-based organizations. Prior to focusing on interim leadership, Wanda served as the executive director/CEO of several nonprofits including: a direct service youth tennis and education foundation, a start-up nonprofit and a community foundation.

Wanda has served on the board of directors of multiple nonprofits including most recently a regional developer of affordable housing and a workforce development nonprofit. She was appointed by the local government manager to co-chair two community-wide public education initiatives including the Complete Count Committee for the U.S. Census and the Complete Vaccination Committee during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Wanda earned a BA in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
