
Christine A. Ross, MBA, MS, CCE, is a seasoned association executive with more than 25 years of experience leading mission-driven scientific, professional, and business organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and organizational change.
Christine has firsthand interim executive experience, having served as Interim Executive Director of the American Association for Anatomy before being selected by the Board to serve as its permanent Executive Director. She understands the unique demands of interim leadership—establishing trust quickly, assessing organizational needs, maintaining momentum, and guiding boards and staff through periods of transition while positioning organizations for long-term success.
As a former CEO and Executive Director, she has partnered closely with boards and volunteer leaders to strengthen governance, improve financial performance, modernize operations, and advance strategic priorities. Her experience spans membership organizations, professional education, meetings and events, publishing, advocacy, workforce development, and stakeholder engagement.
