As a seasoned interim executive and business management professional, Kathryn has more than 20 years of non-profit management experience. In her role as an interim executive, Kathryn draws on her expertise in organizational development, business strategy, financial management, executive coaching, capacity building and systems development.
Having served in more than ten interim roles as CEO, Executive Director, as well as COO, Kathryn has a proven adaptability to meet an organization where it is on its organizational life cycle. Her assignments have ranged from 3-18 months, serving organizations with budgets from $1-$35 million and diverse missions from education, special needs, membership to grant-making and service delivery. She is familiar with the challenges and opportunities of legacy organizations, the founder-led, as well as the newly formed.
Kathryn finds this work especially rewarding as it allows her to partner with Boards of Directors, Search Committees, Search Firms, and staff at all levels to strengthen the organization, develop the team, support the search, and prepare the organization for its new leader.
She has attended Harvard Business School’s Executive Education, is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Organizational Development Program, and has been trained in professional coaching by the Coaching Training Institute. Kathryn’s undergraduate studies were completed at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
